Package design for Uotilan Bakery, a Finnish family owned business. Concept KASKI was inspired of old traditional rye grain drying method “Riihiruis” and refers to an old technique “slash and burn” agriculture. Riihiruis gives the rye bread a touch of round smoky flavour — add some real butter and you are hooked.

VAISSI / BRANDING & PACKAGE DESIGN
Vaissi — for the love of cabbage since 1829. Branding and Package Design for Vaissi, a Finnish family business. Vaissi’s cabbage rolls combine tradition with modern trends. Grandma’s classic got a vegan version, the rice has been replaced by trendy fava beans and oatmeal. Healthy, handmade and delicious. Vaissi needed a new look and an updated brand story to communicate the change.
KAAVI PORCINI / BRANDING & PACKAGE DESIGN
The brief was to design premium packaging for high quality wild mushrooms from Kaavi: Porcini (main product), Chanterelle, Funnel Chanterelle and Black Chanterelle. The solution needed to appeal different target markets and stand out in the category of typical premium products. The inspiration came from fine dining, art, gourmet, calligraphy and simply – mushrooms. The aim was to inspire, home-cooks as well as top-chefs, to be bold, creative and even experimental and simply enable to bring a piece of wild Finnish gourmet product on the plate.
The product package design won the prestigious Red Dot Award, Communication Design 2016: Best of the Best.

Branding and visual identity for high-end Riski clothing brand. We updated Riski Design Studio’s logo and visual identity and helped them communicate their brand story better.
SYLVESTER / BERG TRADING
Package concept for the first domestic organic cracker (korppu) products. The inspiration came from old signage and old style “Manicles”, pointing hand icons used to emphasize in signs, newspapers, posters and such around 1800. But in this concept the hands come to life and start making other gestures in addition to pointing.
ÄÄNi TYÖTTÖMÄLLE CAMPAIGN / SAK
The brief was to design a visual identity for a long-term campaign that aims to raise awareness and provoke conversation of unemployment issues in Finland – give a voice for the unemployed. The campaign is called “Ääni työttömälle” (A voice for the unemployed). Material created was for example flyers, posters, material for social media, roll-ups and banners among other. Layout and cover for “Isin ja tyttöje Lettikirja – Bileet!” a fun and innovative guidebook for making different kinds of braids. The book consists of six different party themes each section containing four braid hair dues.

The brief was to design a new logo and a visual identity for PelloCo a full-service business law firm focusing on technology, media and telecom. The identity was implemented in business cards, greeting card, stationery and web site.
